Ambassador Clyde Kull is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in international relations and EU affairs.

He served as a senior diplomat for 30 years with the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including as ambassador to France, Germany, EU, NATO, WTO, and the OECD.

He has direct experience in a broad range of policy matters and issues, spanning digital, trade, climate, energy, waste management, agriculture and fisheries, and disarmament and security.

With three decades of diplomatic experience, he was actively involved in the establishment of the European diplomatic service and the Eastern Partnership Programme.

Clyde played a key role in Estonia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and during the 2017 Estonian Presidency of the Council he led discussions on critical legislative files related to the EU Digital Single Market, climate, and energy packages. He has been heavily involved in significant initiatives such as the Green Deal and Digital Agenda.
